Who are the Juniors to be in Kansas wrestling?
Chapman has a great 1-2 punch in Juniors with Eric Arveson and William Irvine back for the next 2 years. Arveson lost in the semis to Elliot of Augusta 3-0 at State and is slick. Irvine was a state qualifier who battled injury and still managed some quality wins at state.
When you look at Lawrence As a whole we do have pretty good sophmores we hav at least 4-5 returning qualifiers (Sommers, Weinmaster, from free state, & Goodwin, Hertzel Fromm LHS) But overall look for Lhs to do well @state next year i'll explain in a different post.
Steven Foster should do really well next year. Took 2nd as a sophmore at 215
im goin to be a junior but im not too good. i qualified and finished with a 25-14 record
Jordan Edison at Wichita-NW will be a Junior at 145 or 152, I think. He qualified for state as a Freshman, placed 5th as a Sophmore and looks waaay better this summer already. He is putting on solid muscle and a lot of testosterone. And you boys know what testosterone does for ya. I look for good things from the little Edison
But then I am his mama!
I need to get Daddy Edison to go along with Mama Edison to help put more muscle on little Nathan Furches Edison.
paul hansen from turner, 3rd in state as freshman, undefeated state champ as sophomore.
Derek Koehn has been really bustin his a$$ to get better and hell be a great contender again for state next year
alex whitehill and dallas nelson of mcpherson ben evens of hutch will have a good season
if u want furches i can give u some names to get little nathan furches edison some "testosterone" if u dont mind a few side effects. I'm sure it will put some muscle on him.

Yea I want to say other things but I would get the big boot from the wonderful forums...
Steveville has a few that could do very well next year ........ the Hamburglar will go for another title .......... Stinky will look to get back on the medal stand ........ Sweet Roll might have been there this year if he hadn't gotten injured ,,,,,,,,, Bam Bam and Huggie will be tough as well ........ looking forward to seeing what they can do in the next two years
Has anyone said anything about Scheideman out of Wamego he placed fourth this year and should be a force next season plus Olson from Wamego should be tough if he gets into some offseason stuff.
I see Jordan at the Y alot. He is gonna be a MONSTER!
A few more studs...Aaron Ely and Kyle Grape.
SlamBam
Which Y? We are at the Y almost everyday.
They lift at the West YMCA, at this time, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights. Wrestle on Tuesday and Thursday and do Heating and Air work with their dad on Saturdays and then go to church and pig out on Sundays. They will start football conditioning in addition in a couple of weeks every morning in the early am. They definitely don't look like they do because of PS2.

So you are an X-Box family??
We ought to find times that we could split off at the YMCA's for those that are members. I know the folks at the Southside very well in that I do a lot of volunteer work for them. We could have a specific summer program for wrestlers and all. We are usually doing the morning thing but would be open up to changing it.
so if i switch from ps2 to x-box i wont be fat and out of shape?
yea, that is what i meant!
Aaron Hynick from Rose Hill should be a really good junior this next year. He qualified for state but had an extremely tough bracket at 140 and lost some close ones. He beat the guys who took 1st 2nd and 3rd in 5a earlier in the season.
