Am i deluded? How are these rankings possible:
1. Drew Ibarra (STA)
2. Justin Johnson (Man)
3. Ryan Sondregger (SME)
4. Carl Kammerrer (SMW)
5. Randy Craig (Jun. City)
6. Richie Rios (Wic. Hie.)

Ibarra is legitamate and Johnson is good (I don't know about #2 good) but Sondregger and Kammerrer is where i have my doubts. I have personally seen both beaten by "middle of the road wrestlers". Also could someone let me know what weight(152?) Kammerer placed at last year? Rios and Craig i have never seen but hope to watch.
Thanks

Its just the rankings, they don't really mean anything. Kammerer placed at 135 last year.

our 152 lb. travis morris(olathe north) is a good wrestler and lost 1 nothing to sondgreggro or however you spell his name in the 3rd period on a escape. it was a great match of riding sondgrego or whatever isn't that good look him to get his butt whooped at state
Posted By: StallingSob4 Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/11/03 06:13 PM
although dane hammett(bv) beat ibarra at the classic on a move that josh carroll was beat by 2x his sophmore year and still won state, drew controlled the whole match and made a choice to let dane up and drew continued being aggressive and shot a double leg and got put on his back but if they were to wrestle again i think drew would put a whooping on him badly
Posted By: Quarreem Santangelo Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/12/03 04:04 AM
I totally agree with you that Ibarra is a better wrestler, there is no argument here, but i watched the Morris vs. Sondregger match and it wasn't all that great. Morris was the "headbutt kid" right?
DUI?

did justin smith move to 152? It has him there on the new rankings that were sent out to the coaches
Posted By: dbedore Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/12/03 04:24 PM
Justin Smith wrestled 145 at the Liberal tourn this weekend if that helps you out.
Posted By: StallingSob4 Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/12/03 04:33 PM
thats pretty sad he has to make an excuse for only winning 1-0, headbutting every kid i've wrestled has head butted me once or twice it happens its apart of the sport deal with it, and it was reckless conduct not a dui
Posted By: BV4Life Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/13/03 02:45 AM
I'm not saying that the match with ibarra and hammett wasnt a huge luck of the draw, but i wouldnt say he would put a wopin' on him badly.

Calm down Dallas and bravo LancerM.
Posted By: LancerM Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/13/03 06:18 PM
East had a lot of guys sitting out that dual tournament since they had an overbooked schedule. The coach chose a dual that he looked at as not mattering as much, e.g., yours. Even without our varsity wrestlers at 125, 145, and 189(Two of which are state placers, the other a qualifier), they still barely lost to you, and that's even including Croxton's controversial pin with one second left despite the ref being on the wrong side of the mat to call it. Also, Dallas, didn't you get suspended for drinking? You're lucky you go to an Olathe school because anywhere else there would be a zero tolerance rule and you would be done for the season.
Posted By: StallingSob4 Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/13/03 07:55 PM
okay i'm glad you have my district rules down pat as well as yours! bravo, i was suspended from competition for 2 weeks but i can still practice and all that, and do you think i care that much? because if i did i would have been a little bit more wiser in my choice and i wouldn't have gotten caught
Posted By: tap eroom Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/14/03 02:04 AM
it doesn't matter what dallas does off the mat. you should be worried about how S.M.E. needs a good head coach and someone to make that cocky 152lb. kid off the state rankings.

Hey BV4life are you Hammett, i noticed your interest in 152's? Tap, your comments can be described in only one word in their poinagncy and brazenness, schmegmatic. Dallas, work on your spelling and LancerM i might add that your a feisty little lancer, how can attack a guy like Dallas. He is just too friendly.
Posted By: ABartels Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/14/03 02:24 AM
Whats that awful noise? It's starting to hurt my ears. Hey guys, lets not argue. Why can't we just be friends and talk about wrestling. So anyways, if our team scores six points but gets pinned do we still get those points...wait up guys don't leave me. You can answer my questoin later. I'm just trying to change the subject thats all.

LancerM you are Mark Robinson, are you not?

"I'll try not to be such a weiner tommorrow."

Dallas, are you going to play college football, just curious (seeing as how LancerM and I follow your every move, it's only fitting that you should fill us in)?

P.S.- Nice spelling on the last reply.

Quarreem Santangelo i have heard you are a good quarter back yourself? Is this a myth? oh also have you eaten your schmegma today?
Posted By: Quarreem Santangelo Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/14/03 02:41 AM
Of course. I eat it twice daily. It is a miracle for cutting weight. I had some on rye toast for lunch and later i made a fondue with schmegma and mozzarella. Delicious. Just like my quarterbacking skills.

What about Wheat Thins?
Posted By: Quarreem Santangelo Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/14/03 02:48 AM
Tuckness, the vastness of my culinary intellect soars far beyond that of any layman like yourself. Wheat Thins are a classic accompaniment to the delectible cheese, however i have a far more sophisticated palate.
Posted By: tap eroom Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/14/03 02:50 AM
Quarreem Santangelo maybe you should use words that people like dallas and raider can understand not words that people of our stature use.
Posted By: Quarreem Santangelo Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/14/03 02:55 AM
Inconceivably proposterous.
Posted By: ABartels Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/14/03 02:57 AM
Okay what about Ritz crackers. But please do not share your distasteful views on Wheat Thins on this wrestling forum.
Posted By: Brett Shoffner Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/14/03 12:35 PM
Quarreem Santangelo:

Just so you know "proposterous" is spelled

p-r-e-p-o-s-t-e-r-o-u-s.

Also, do you all have nothing better to do than waste time bad mouthing each other? We are a very select group of individuals in that we are tough enough to wrestle. Let's all get along. It will better wrestling as a whole and not turn it into a basketball soap opera.

Mr. Shoffner,
Your eloquence and grammatical superiority over me is now glaringly obvious. I agree that we should not waste our time "bad mouthing" one another, but sir,it is all in good fun and good taste. We all hold wrestling in the highest regard, we simply want to vent and release our frustations on whatever the topic (rankings, schmegma, Dallas Browning's personal life, noises hurting out ears) may be.

Inquiry: You are LFS 152 pounder, correct?
Posted By: Brett Shoffner Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/14/03 04:47 PM
Yes sir, I agree. However, one needs to know the limit of the subject being discussed. I am sure Mr. Browning does not appreciate that everyone in the world can now know that he got suspended for alcohol usage.

Yes I am Free State's 152 lber. Who are you?
Posted By: wrestling20 Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/15/03 02:57 AM
Kosko from emporia is now at 152 lbs. He'll probably place at state there. What would you guys think the rankings at 6A 152 if you don't like them?
Posted By: smokeycabin Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/15/03 12:41 PM
Ibarra,

Hopefully Ibarra learned a valuable lesson. That is never relax during a match. End of discussion Drew.

what about blue valley north west 152 pounder
Posted By: StallingSob4 Re: 6A 152 what? - 01/19/03 02:38 AM
if i really cared about wrestling, do you think i would have made a better decision on that night to maybe not use the alcohol? and mark robinson i can't wait until i have the pleasure of tech falling your a$$ again! see you at league
