112 will be stacked at this tournament. One name that CoachJT left off is Tim Sayers from Hutch. Unless he is not wrestling this weekend, he should be ready to go after a layoff due to injury. Tim is a returning state champ. (103)from 6A
Steve Sayers of Hutchinson has been ranked at 103 lbs. all year, even though he has not been wrestling varsity. I think that someone may have confused him with his 112 pound brother. Anyhow, Steve will NOT be wrestling 103 at Rose Hill. Micah Ankenman will be at 103 and Tim Sayers will be at 112.
Probably need to bump Ben Myers from the rankings at 103. He hasn't seen that yet and probably won't. Myers has been wrestling at 119 for Augusta.

and JT, thanks for helping me write my pre-tournament this week
Another 103 pounder listed that wont be at Rose Hill is Kramer he has not wrestled since his 1st match at the Basehor Tournament.
From what i have heard Shane Medore from labette isnt wrestling this year if anyone knows diffrent woudl they fill me in he wasnt at fredonia and his coach said he never even came out this year
Phil Craig from Hutchinson is going at 135 not 140, he is also currently ranked number 1 at 135 and he just got done beating Anstine from Ark City last week in a dual. I think it will be between him and Ashpole at 135.

Earhart will be more than happy to read that news, right coach A.
Someone isn't going to place?

112 lbs.

Kelly Heincker 21-3
Josh Sharp 20-3
Alan Meisch 19-8
Isaac Wall 17-2
Brad Hasselbring 17-6
Donnie Davidson 14-9
Ryan Shock 12-8
Ryan Davidson 13-7
Cody Hamilton 11-2
J.J. Pittman 9-2
Tim Sayers 3-2
Whois going to win?

119 lbs.

Tanner Dawson 20-0
Rose Devoe 15-0
Garrett Harding 22-2
Nathan Delforge 19-5
Sean Cillessen 16-7
Joel Eberhart 11-2
I think Bowman will beat the guy from Hutchinson, and it will be Ashpole and Bowman in the Finals.

From the looks of it, a whole bunch of people aren't going to place.

Or for that matter, wrestle after noon on Saturday. Looks like Louie's is going to have to hire extra help at dinner time.
Dawson, Devoe, and Harding are all really good wrestlers, but I'm going to guess Harding will win it.
Are you sure Phillip Craig will be in the finals?

Jake Ashpole 21-1
Marcus Bowman 19-2
Phil Craig 24-6
David Hagerman 18-3
Josh Peterson 18-4
Thomas Pipes 18-7
J.B. Montange 11-7
Aaron Hynick 11-7
Jaz January 9-3

ps. That is a good win against Anstine, He is a Bear in the Top position.
man, it's going to be hard driving to that tournament now
Is there really a kid named Jaz January? That may be the coolest wrestling name ever...
second coolest.

the coolest name is obviously CHAZ HILL.
Actually, a kid on the Burlington football team was named (I believe) Kyle Lovelady. Now THAT is an awesome name!
I wrestled Eberhart last weekend at 125, so I don't think he'll be at 119 either..
The coach has entered him in at 119, that is his certified weight.
Coachjt, Do you have the schedule of events, times for each round, ect... Please post if you do. Thanks!
Does anyone know what weight Kyle Beebe certified at?
beebe is at 125
Coachjt, Will results be posted on this forum or on a website?

Do you really think Galemore can beat Terrel?
Well if he wrestled like he did against Jake Ashpole in the first tournament of the year, there is always that chance.
True there is always a chance, but I wouldn't put too much money on it for just a chance, granted he is a great wrestler (made me look pathetic last year) but I think Terrel will bring his A game to the table.
It's too bad Terrel already major decisioned Galemore this season or some people might think Galemore stood a chance.
I know Terrel and Galemore already wrestled once in the finals at the Prairie View tournament.
And I belive Terrel beat him 12-2 or so...
If I can get the results on Saturday, I'll post them. I will not be there on Friday night. Augusta has a home BB (sorry) game. However, I can post team scores as free material on my site if I can get them sent to me.
I do not think Jaz January will wrestle. He didn't compete Thursday against Maize. Has had hyper-extension I believe. And yes, that is his name and he was competeing real well this year.
Terrell has beaten Galemore numerous times and every time has been by major decision or better I believe. Galemore is a good wrestler, Terrell just has his number.
I'm going to go with Archer over Petrosky.
