does anyone have any predictions for next yr 103 -275 in all classes?
I could see tibbles from colby being a dominant force at 103.
colby also has another mainus coming who will probably wrestle 112 and should do well espeacially for the years to come.
as for 119 i would say ortiz should dominate and kreigbaum at 125.
2004 - 4A predictions
Who knows? This is just a guess, we don't know for sure who will be a what weight?
103 - Fisher
112 - Devoe
119 - Bahe
125 - Kriegbaum
130 - Geske
135 - Prater
140 - Terrell
145 - Grater
152 - Erisman
160 - Taplin
171 - Flory
189 - Marrs
215 - Bedore
275 - Lewis
What about the Strawn kid from Holton? He looked pretty tough at some of the summer events. I don't think Bahe will be that light, maybe 125 would be closer. Tad Greer will win at 215. Bedore will be moving to 275.
Strawn took second last year losing by 2 points to Taplin. He will be in the mix for sure, if they stay at 152 and Erisman moves up that would be tough.
I just figured Bahe would try to get away from Kreigbaum to win his first championship, but he beat him this summer and that would be a great challenge to be the one that stops a possible four timer.
There are some good ones that could win it and will defiantly be in the mix.
Bowman, Columbus
Chenowith, Clearwater
Zahm, Columbus
Galemore, Chanute
Wall, Andover
Greer, El Dorado
Davis, Rose Hill
Clark, Wellington
That is just a few in our region and I'm sure there are many more. I don't really know that much about the big guys, someone else I'm sure has a better idea than me.
Good Luck this year to everyone, I hope you've been working hard over the summer?
Anybody have any Ideas about 5A i think it should be a hard one to figure out

No idea after 145....
Lord man, that took long enough to compile and plus im not too familiar with 4A 103's. Was it ross devoe that won it all? if thats the case, he will probably bump up to 112. He looked pretty big as a 103.
If fisher can make 103 this year he will be a force to be recond with. But im sure he wont wrestle 103.
Bingham at 112? Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Good stuff.
And I don't think Bedore's going 215. That guy is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.
To Prant Garker:
I see that you find my prediction of Aaron Bingham going 112 is highly comical. I see that as in insult and now i will destroy for such a dishonor. Just messing with u Prant!!
Since u were a teammate of his, what weight do u realistically think he can make? I hear he was cutting a lot for 103 (he looked pretty darn skinny at state might I add). I wouldve had him going 119 for the 2004 season because he went 125 at freestyle/greco state, and went 119 at nationals, but another teammate of yours, Jeb Woodford, I figured would go 119 and probably beat him out for the spot. I assume this because he is a returning state runner up and probably stronger since he was at a higher weight than Bingham during the 2003 season.
If u could fill me in on what the heck those two r going to do that would be a great. Have those two come to an agreement on where each will be going? That would be a shame to have one of those guys on jv...a waste of talent for ur team indeed. Im thinking that if Bingham cant beat Woodford for the 119 spot, then i would guess he would have to go 125. That i might had would be ridicious. He would be so undersized.

Bingham will be a skinny 152 or maybe a heavy 145... He like's his twinkies.
Getting Back to 4a real quick and the lighter weight guys...I know this is my alma mater but does anyone have an idea where Jon Arveson will wrestle at( weight wise?)...he is one of 3 great freshman Chapman has coming up in the next year.
4A- Corey Bloodgood has the ability to place top 4 at 112 or 119. Trammel should qualify and place top 5 this year.
Bingham will battle it out with Jhris Cennings and a very teeny Phil Manuel for the 215 spot.
I don't see him wrestling anything under 119. I also don't see him losing in any Haley Joel Osment look-alike contests. It's freaky.
so true prant...he should be his stunt double. I hear its good money nowdays.
i dont think ortiz has a chance against Bahe.
You must be joking when u put mancuso over herrera.
I think most of you have forgotten about Metcalf . He will be either at 160/171. Now for 103 --FR. Cody Kramer. (Maybe) not a state champ but willbe in the top three.
isnt cody cramer that kid from fort scott???? gets seeded number 1 every year in south sub 1 only to get totally eat up by those east kansas kid wrestlers ???? dont know there names but i think a couple have done it the past 2-3 years????also can cramer get by josh sharp i dont think he can and im thinking sharp will be back at 103
i highly doubt sharp will be at 103
yeah i think sharp is wieghing about 120 right now.
hey DTramm, it's mark from east, what weight are you wrestling?
Kramer beats Sharp in practice all the time. So, when the season starts we wil see about wto gets what. Sharp will be 112 this year.

i am wieghin around 158 - 160 i will wrestle 145 or 152 wich ever i fell like, what about you?
Not much Schoffner. I'll be at 152. Who is going to East Kansas for preseason?
i really want to go but it is hard with football i will go to a few practices though
When are the EKS practices???
I'm pretty sure they are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 6 or 6:30.
schieber? did u graduate or do u have one more year left. i thought u were a sr last yr like me.
where at North or northwest?
hey old145 how can you put down one of your own team mates to brag up your brother. how has cody beat sharp at high school practice when hs has not even started? has he been practicing with the hs wrestlers? sharp looks tuff this year. don't count him out.
I'm not a team mate. I saw them in kids club at practice. Sharp is tuff, but Kramer is alot tuffer. Kramer works harder than any body.
To say Kramer works harder than anybody is a pretty bold statement. There are a lot of kids out there that work very hard, and in that mix I'm sure there are some who work as hard, probably even harder than he does. Unless he's putting in six days a week in the summer, lifting twice a day, and running (for starters) right now, I wouldn't say he's working harder than anybody.
Back to predictions
103 Fisher Andale if he is not there I like Fr Trevor Leahy who I would imagine will be at 103
112 Devoe Columbus
119 Cody Bell Basehor
125 Kriegbaum Abilene
130?
135 Prater Pratt
140 Marcus Bowman Columbus
then what ever weights Grate, Erisman,Taplin and Flory are out they all should win titles. Also Strawn and Metcalf will cause some noise and have a shot a state title.
who is Terrell? where is he from? @ 140
Jeremy Terrell is from Rose Hill. He won state last year at 135.
i had to wrestle terrell over the summer real good wrestler i am sure he will win what ever wieght he is at. and is rose hill 321a
Rose Hill is 4a and you're right DTramm, Terrell is a great wrestler. He shouldn't have any trouble repeating as a state champion.
I am a senior this year. Practices are at BVNW.
have practices started all ready i got a form in the mail but to lazy to look
yeah, i think they started a couple of weeks ago.
lazy bums, ill come down there and kick ur butts.
What about 5a predictions 103-hwt
who do you think will all place at 125-140? in 5A, I think Trent Swanson has a good chance to take state at 135 this year.
i wonder what everyone thinks of 119 and 125 6A this yr. With garcia pretty much as a lock for the 125lb title i wonder who else will be in the mix. I could see heincker not being a state champ at 119. he looked pretty small for a 112lber. Munyan, woodford and company will have him on their sights.
103,112,119....Creekmore, Jonathan Ludlow, Munoz... Look for all of these kids to be in the mix of the top three weights.
what i was wondering was what happened to john ludlow? He was ranked at 103 a while back. Then last yr i didnt see his name in any tournament results and he didnt qualify for state. can anyone tell me what happened?
Ludlow blew his knee out last year. He had surgery. He is pretty much fully recovered and right now is in the best out of season shape he has ever been in. He is running everyday after school and is doing well to get his knee in shape. I look for him (barring injury to do real well at 112 this year.
how did he blow out his knee?
any ideas on how 135 is looking this year?
I don't know who all will be at 135 but i do know that trent swanson from mcpherson is wrestling 135.
Looks like 119 is going to be a bear this year
at most of the tournaments.
Harding, Northern, Heicnker, Elliot, Adcock, Munyan, Briggs, Woolford, and I can't remember the state champs name from Goddard but he is tough too. Thats going to make for some good tournament finals this year. Rumor has it Garcia is going to suck down to 119 this year also.
Watch this weight class in the coming year..
The returning 5A, 112 lb. State Champion from Goddard is Tommy Edgemon!
If you place any credence in rumors, Tristan DeShazer, defending 5A, 103 lb. State Champion may also be at 119 lbs.
If the Garcia rumor is true, look for some of those people to scatter to 125 and 112. I think Cody would be outstanding wherever he goes so what would be the use of cutting? Unless he wouldn't be cutting that much.
Mark schieber sucks, I worked him last year. and why not quareem? i miss that name but props on the avatar still.
i wonder if seth metzler is staying at 103 or bumping up to 112. and from the sounds of things, 119 will be ridiciously stacked.
there would be no reason for garcia to cut to 119. He would dominate 125 (he destroyed all the 119lbers last yr that r returning and those guys will be moving up to 125 most likely) and he consistantly moves up a weight class every yr anyways. i dont see why he would stay at 119 and run the risk of hurting his performace by cutting.
I feel that this is Rose Hills year to win it all. They have a hand full of guys who I feel could all be in the top 6. Terrell obviously leads them, but Davis, and Petrosky are capable of being in the finals also. Another returning State placer who might be overlooked is J.J. Pittman from Augusta. 4A placer 2 years ago, did not place in 5A last year at maybe the most loaded weight in the state. He will either be at 112 or 119.
Garcia might be looking ahead to high school nationals or he may believe he would have more tough matches at 119. Looking ahead four or five months at the 6a state tounament at 119, we could see two (2 timers) in the finals with Heincker v Garcia. Cody is a GREAT wrestler but Heincker is no punk. I believe they have only wrestled once in high school and Heincker beat him. I'm not saying he would win again but I would like to see it.
I would also like to see Garcia v Harding (Winfeild) in a tournament final. That would be a brawl!!
I predict that coach Jilka will have the biggest caboose in all of 6a this year and coach Bammes will have the shiniest head. I also predict that Cody Garcia will take over Tanner Gardner's spot for most talked about on the internet this year.
who do you think will be tough in 5a 103-hwt
