I was just wondering who people thought would be the top wrestlers in these weight bracket. Thanks.
Check the rankings under Links for starters. It's not a wealth of information but might give you some idea. Who will Minneapolis have at that spot?
I think that chris kendall will be at either 130 or 135 but i can't think of anyone else that might be there.

i went, the rankings are poorly out of date.
If you will notice when you go to the rankings, it clearly states the rankings will be updated Dec 1! It is only on paper anyway, let's wrestle and find out the right way.
Current rankings posted are last years state
3-2-1 A placers in the weight that they placed.
If I have made any mistakes please email me the correct information. Rankings will be updated on Dec. 1, or as coaches verify weight classes etc.
pwlion: I think Chris has potential
Chris will be at 135 this year and he will be very tough.
I think if Kendall, Lambert, Gawith and even Noon step-up you guys will have a strong season. I'm sure I'm missing some others that could do well. Good Luck
Matt Engelbert is going to start the season at 145 then certify at 135 he was the state runner up last year.
Nothing official, but I had heard that Gilliland from Hoxie is going to open the season at 130 and that Hoxie will have Jay Lewis (a medallist at 103 a couple of years ago) at 135.
One of the Schippers twins may certifiy at 135 later on, but they are opening the season at 140 & 145.
I've followed Northwest Kansas wrestling fo about 30 years (Before Baker was King at Hoxie) To You people that rank and know little: Watch this
Never ever underestemate a Gilliland or a Schippers (or anyone from the NW Kanas league)
