Does anybody know why there is a forfeit in that bracket?

Possibly the Topeka Highland Park kid can tell you.

The highland kid slapped his opponent (names slipped my mind on both) and was dq'd right at the end of the match. Lucky for whomever got that first round match-up!

Cook from Highland Park was DQ'ed for slapping Wilderman from Pittsburg in the face with just a few seconds left in the match. Cook had been penalized a point earlier in the match for the same thing.

Wilderman was winning the match the match by 7 or 8 points at the time.

Cook had like a 28-4 record and would have been a definate contender for a medal at state had he not got disqualified. It's a shame that a senior has to go out like that!

ive talked to the cooke and he is a nice guy. why did he slap wildermen in the first place?

I think it was because Wilderman worked him like a tool.

Cook Slapped Wilderman because Wilderman was wrestling dirty the whole match. Hes a very dirty wrestler.

So what

If he was the dirty one why didn't he get disqualified?

Wilderman is a very well trained and physical wrestler, I think it's funny that someone could call him dirty for wrestling as hard he does!

If that's the case I wish all my wrestlers were dirty!!!
