I probably shouldn't brag, but I know enough people knew about this so what the heck.

Breaking every wrestling coaching tradition known to the world, my wife Angela presented the world with a six-pound, 15-ounce little BOY, named Sage Jeffory Holmes at 2:08 p.m. CST Wednesday at Providence Hospital in Kansas City — five days BEFORE practice started. He's our first

Mother, baby and the guy who drove to the hospital are doing great!

Thanks for indulging me!

Holmes - Congrats!,

As for me, as a father of two girls, without getting too specific, what is the secret to breaking the Gable curse? No wrestling girls for me, I'd like them to be dainty!

Bill:

I'd like to say there's some kind of scientific discovery I made, but it was probably just law of averages. He's laying here beside me right now as we watch K-State whipping up on Missouri.
Boy or girl, it really didn't matter to me. But it was fun beating the odds!!!

If they come out K-State fans, then no thanks!

Don't worry about that — my boy is a Hawkeye and/or a Northern Iowa Panther!
