Kansas Wrestling
Washburn University is forming a Wrestling Club.
If you are a Washburn Student and interested in Joining please e-mail me at kevin.cathcart@washburn.edu

We have about a dozen members so far. I believe several of the members are wrestling in the Old-timers tournament in Topeka at Seaman High School on April 1st.
Good deal...make sure you get registered with the NCWA so you can compete next year for a National Title.
Kevin, Are you going to be there next year?
Yes, But I also coach at Seaman High School so I do not know how involved I can be. Dr. Vest has agreed to be our campus Advisor.
That was from -Kevin Cathcart I am logged in under Coach Keiswetters log in right now. Thanks
I have been having trouble with My Washburn
e-mail. Some of you have e-mailed me and I have been unable to reply. You can try this e-mail and I will reply. kevin_cathcart@yahoo.com
Sorry for any inconvience. We had 3 Washburn students wrestle in the Old-timers tournament. Good times...
What is the Athletic Departments stance on wrestling at Washburn? Dr. Don Vest is a great asset there for the wrestling community.
as long as you are an enrolled student with at least 6 hours to compete you must be full time 12 hours- if i am wrong please let me know
Good Deal!!! Yes please do sign up with NCWA and we'll see you in Dallas for Nationals if not sooner.
Could someone post the official eligibility requirements please?
Go to the NCWA site, pull up rules. section 2 article 1 & 2. Basically you have 4 years to compete and you have to take a minimum 6 credits.
