If anyone was able to attend today, could you please provide some updates on Newman or any other Kansas boys? Unfortunately, my wife was called out of town on business and I had to cancel my plans to attend. I'm really interested in Newman's accomplishments on the day, but would love to hear any other success stories by our guys.
Newman dominated and won the team title. At 125 Isaac Wall 1st, John Hagan 2nd. 133 Heersche KSU beat Kyle Oyler NU in the finals, 141, James Fox 1st, 149, Goodloe NU 1st, Hoover NU 2nd, 157, Jake Johnson 3rd, Hill 5th, 165, Sprague 3rd, 174 Curtis Chenoweth 1st fall rd 1 Ahsha Abu-Ali KSU, 184 Josh Fansler 1st, 285 Floran NU 1st, Zack Hanford 2nd.
It was a smooth tournament. I was glad I got to be there to watch. Joey Heersche was the outstanding wrestler.
Newman showed up and represented well. I am really looking forward to see what we look like in D2 next year! Good job boys and coaches!
