Maple is at 141? I figured he would go 133 in college.

That's where he's listed now and will wrestle there next Thursday assuming he earns the chance. Coach Spates really likes his attitude and work ethic.

Maple dropped by to see me today and check his weight before heading to the Lindenwood tourney tomorrow. As of right now, Maple will be red-shirting. He certified 133 but it was decided it was too big of a pull for him as he is walking around naturally about 150+. So he will redshirt to grow and lift into a bigger 141.

He love OU, loves Spates and Henson and it seems all of the KS boys there currently are having a blast. They will all make some noise in the future for OU!!

Did Maple say anything about Detmer or Caldwell redshirting?

I expect Caldwell to wrestle varsity 165.
