For those of you that can't make it to Spokane, WA this year, there will be video coverage!

I just checked PSBLive.com site and I don't see any note that they will be in Spokane...I'm hoping that changes soon.
Here is the link for the main tournament site with brackets and other info:
http://www.nic.edu/athletics/wrestlingNationals/I'll post anything I find.
Word from the SID:
The championship on Saturday will be webcast live. Access the webcast by going to
www.nic.edu/athletics/wrestlingnationals. The website will also have live stats (or semi-live I guess) posted after every bout and bracket updates after each round also at the website above.
Hats off to a National level tournament providing video. Will there be announcers to go with it?
Your welcome James. I'm pretty bummed about missing it this year...I don't remember the last time I didn't go. It's going to be a helluva tourney this year too. I see a tight four team race (Labette, Clackamas, Nassau, and North Idaho) with a handful of others right behind them (Iowa Central, Muskegon, Ellsworth, Rend Lake). We drew well at 84 and 97...both of those guys have a good shot at bringing home individual titles. It looks like we'll end up with a lot of tough quarters matches though. Didn't like to see Redleaf draw Fortune second match...he'll get AA status regardless of the outcome of that match though. They won it in '05 with 6 AA's. This team is capable of having more than 6 AA's. I'm getting excited!
I hate to see you miss as well. The last thing I told Joe before he left was to make sure Ike and our sister Gina are not even in the same section of seating due to the fact that you two together may get the fans insighted into a riot. I hate to see you miss the tournament- but I will sleep better now.
Ooooo....James. I slowed my roll years ago. It's all about avoidance measures, right? I just don't sit next to the Iowa Central section anymore...I sit right in the middle. One of these years the refs will understand that ALL calls are suppose to go Labette's way too.
Seriously though, I'm glad to hear Gina will be there. Is your Pops going up this year? The Cardinal crew will probably be slim with the tourney being so far from the midwest.
Ike- email me when you get a chance- I dont have your email for some reason.

9:30 AM Championship First Round!
9:30 AM(PST) I would assume.
All Cardinals made weight...TCOB time! An hour and a half before action starts.
I smell yellar medals...definitely not bacon...yup, yellar medals.
Looks like some bad news from the NIC Website:
Real-time results will begin around 10 a.m. (PST) on Friday, Feb. 25.
Watch here for webcast of the championship finals Saturday at 6 p.m. (PST).
Only the Finals...ugggh! I'll post first round match by match results (for LCC) as I get them via text, since it looks like we won't have real-time results for the first hour.
At 125...Ark City product Garrett Jones is up 11-2 in the second.
Jones wins 16-14! Nearly had the fall.
Apparently the clock was screwed up and the buzzer sounded several times stopping action. They'll need to get that worked out!
Ty Fittje wins by fall! Two for two so far...keep rollin.
Is 8-9 AA's, two champs, and a team title too bold of a prediction?
Jordan Basks by fall! Michael Perez wins 6-0. Four for four now...rollin'
Ray Hall wins at 184 10-5. The only loss so far this round was Buckley at 65.
Walker Clarke with a 12 second pin! 6 wins and one loss for the Cardinals in the opening round, with three pins.
Jones lost his second match. He's joining Buckley in the back door. This is a big round for the Cards with a lot of tough matches.
Cards struggling this round. Jones, Fittje, and Basks all went down but Perez came through for the pin at 49.
Kayton Marshall with a major at 57 (15-2)! Getting back in it here. The good news is...everyone is taking their lumps. North Idaho and Nassau both have several in the back door and Clackamas has a few too.
After Round 1:
Plc Score School CH WB 8 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

15 4.5 Clackamas 7 0 0
Gage Martin with a win at 174 to punch into the quarters.
Now the big guns are coming up...84, 97, and HWT. Redleaf will have the man child Fortune though...not overly optimistic about that one.
Colby knockin some heads up there too...
Redleaf wins at HWT...Fortune is next match.
6 on the front side and 4 in the wrestle backs.
Jones with a pin on the back side!
Labette is tied for first as a team after the second round.
Fittje with a backside win too.
Jordan Basks is out (1-2) after a successful season. He's battled asthma pretty bad the later half of the season. This is a young man that went 7-1 at the Omaha Open to place third. Tough loss for the Cards.

Is that you Adam? Nice to see you around here. Thanks for posting that, I got a little discouraged last night. It's going to be really difficult to pull off a title this year and it's still a dogfight just to place. The five that are left will make plenty of noise. I don't see Redleaf losing again and I don't see Hall or Clarke losing. Jones is battling away...always nice to have the overachievers around. Perez is tough as nails and he could make the finals too. If we get three in the finals some posibilities open up. Man, losing Basks and Fittje so early was rough. Both of those guys are legit top four guys. Most of the others were AA capable but I considered those guys to be guns we needed. Hoping for a miracle today.
Yeah Whats up Ike! It is going to be very tough... But you know this is eerily familiar to how '05 went down. Going into the second day down 5. With 3 on the front, and a couple on the back... If we can finish today with only 1 or 2 losses we could still pull it out!
I like your confidence Adam! I think you guys had six AA's though. It's gonna take every piece of help we can get and a flawless performance with bonus point wins. Have you looked at the semi's match-up's? It's pretty much guys from the top six teams with a handful of exceptions. It's possible, but we are definitely a darkhorse at this point.
Just lost 25 consolation match and 49 semi's...pretty much battling to place as a team now.
Man...the teams above us can't buy a win either. What a tourney. The teams behind (Lincoln, Rend Lake, and Nassau) us are getting a few wins though.
Garrett Jones with a 7th place finish for the Cardinals! Cardinals sitting in 5th place.
Cant believe Clackamas is going to win it... Good Luck to Walker tonight! What would that make the second ever two timer for Labette?
Clackamas was pretty loaded this year. This was one of the most talented teams Renfro has had too and they will finish almost as low as any of them have...the what if's and woulda, coulda, shouldas make a long list this year.
They're still taking home a team trophy. That's 8 years in a row now.
Earl Jones is still the only two timer. Walker's got a former national champ in the finals. Winner probably takes OW.
Colby and Neosho will both be leaving Washington state with an All-American. Jeff Vesta (Manhattan, KS)ended up fourth for Neosho and Jace Campbell (Oakley, KS) ended up eighth for Colby, both Kansas kids. No All-Americans for the Pratt or NW Tech.
Labette will be leaving with five All-American's. Walker Clarke (Stillwater, OK), Michael Perez (Hulbert, OK), Reno Redleaf (Ponca City, OK), Ray Hall (Oak Park, MO), and Garrett Jones (Ark City, KS)...all of those kids went to high school within a three hour drive of Parsons, KS.
ike did u watch walkers match? what happened? he get caught?
Walker was bringing the offense. He tried to set up a front head inside trip, no success. Shot in on a single but couldn't finish. Hit a nasty no touch duck and was right into scoring position behind Jones. Jones reaches back, neck wrenches, steps over and sticks him. Walker didn't want to bail on it, fought the neck wrench too long and allowed him time to settle and step over. No good.
