No. 17 North Carolina (4-1) is headed to Illinois this weekend to participate in the 57thannual Midlands Championships. The Tar Heels will compete in the two-day tournament on Sunday and Monday with every match streamed live on FloWrestling.

Last weekend, UNC traveled to Arkansas and defeated Little Rock, 35-6. Both Clay Lautt and Joey Mazzara pinned their way to wins to help the Tar Heels collect the win against former Tar Heel assistant Neil Erisman's Trojans.

The following Tar Heels will be wrestling at the Sears Centre Arena:

PHILADELPHIA – With many students at home for the holidays during winter break and the 2019 calendar year ending, the University of Pennsylvania wrestling team prepares to travel to the Chicago suburbs to compete in the prestigious, 57th Midlands Championships. The tournament will take place at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Ill. from December 29-30.

The tournament will feature a stout field, including a bevy of ECAC teams (American, Army, Brown, Bucknell, Columbia, Harvard, Franklin & Marshall, and Princeton), nationally ranked teams (no. 1 Iowa, No. 4 Wisconsin, No. 7 UNI, No. 8 Northwestern, No. 11 Purdue, No. 18 North Carolina, No. 22 Oklahoma, and No. 23 Virginia), and other top programs.

Session I: 8:30 a.m.
Session II: 8 p.m.

Monday, December 30
Session III: 1 p.m.
Session IV: 8 p.m.
