From 7-9 p.m., the mats will be open for workouts this Friday, May 30, for the State FS/GR Tournament at Baldwin High School. The school is located at 415 Eisenhower, about 3 blocks north of Highway 56 in Baldwin City, very easy to find. Once you get to the BHS/BJHS campus, the high school building is the one with the lighter brick.
There will be two vendors at the tournament: Sunflower Wrestling and Blue Chip Athletic (formerly Midwest Wrestling Report).
Weigh-ins are Saturday from 7-9 a.m. for both styles or 3-4 p.m. for freestyle only wrestlers. There is no weight allowance and wrestlers must weigh in with a singlet on. Wrestling will begin on Saturday at approximately 11 a.m. for GR and approximately 6 p.m. for FS.
USAW cards may be purchased for $30. Entry fee is $15 for one style and $20 for both.
The age divisions offered are: bantam, midget, novice, cadet, and junior. The bantam is an addition to what was printed on the original flier.
