I know that often times we in the wrestling community have echoed a huge gripe that wrestling does not get the press that it deserves. Well, we have been given a great article from Sports Illustrated. In the recent issue there is an article about an up and coming wrestler. Henry Cejudo is a phenom of sorts in our great sport. He is being touted as the next John Smith, Dan Gable, or Cale Sanderson....in short "Henry is the future of wrestling" says Kevin Jackson. Why is he that much different and why have we not heard a ton of him as we have of the afore mentioned Smith, Gable, or Sanderson? Well, he is only 20 and has never wrestled a minute on a collegiate mat. He won a National Freestyle title last year at 19 and is expected to win another. Will he be the next???? I am not sure. I hope. I would like to see a young man such as this break through and bring home a gold for our country in 2008. Read the article and watch a few of his matches on YouTube and make your own predictions. He is not flashy, but he finds a way to win and in the end that is all that matters. So, take a look at the story and let me know what you think. I hope everyone is having a good summer and I am off to work on my putting.
