Will Thank you for the opportunity for the MO-Kan team to enter this event. I left KCI at 6:45 a.m. and I know Xavier Fisher is excitied about the upcoming tournament and the challenge for him. Jeff Vesta is a veteran of these type events and should provide leadership for Coach Tom. I could never Thank you enough. Proud of Kansas Wrestlers and the Manhattan Kids. "Ole Coach" RMG
Everyone made weight this morning and most of them went to San Francisco for sight-seeing. We had a few changes in the line-up but I was blessed with Will's knowledge of the kids we have in Kansas and Missouri.

108 - Javier Vieyra
115.5 - Cody Hummer
123 - Jeff Vesta
130 - Daniel DeShazer
138 - Cole Schreiner
145 - Taylor Moeder
154 - Dylan Penka
163 - Chris Watson
174 - Chase Nelson
190 - Cody Johnston
217 - Kyle Caylor
286 - Xavier Fisher

Should be interesting, some tough competition!

Coach Peterman
We are 4 -1 and there is a three way tie with us CYC and the USA All-Stars. Two more duals today and then the individual tournament starts, which will probably determaine the overall champ. Time to go and wake up the troops, the battle field mats are calling.

Who did you lose to and how close was it? Is there a web site following the action?

Chief - I cant find any website for the trny.
All I've rcvd. from Taylor is his own W/L, but the dual portion should be over b/c he said he finished 6-1. I think, not sure, that their loss yesterday was to the USA All Star Team. I'm pretty sure they beat the team from Germany.

Ok, I was able to get from him that as a team they went 6-1 in the dual portion. He said that it means nothing yet as they combine the points from the dual portion along with their performance in the individual tournament to determine the final team placings. The individual brackets should be starting soon.

Any more results?
Sorry about the delay after the banquet, I was wiped out. We ended up 2nd. The kids all got nice metals, I got a plaque and Chase Nelson our alone Champ got a jacket, performance shirt, and shorts. 2nd place wrestlers Jeff Vesta Daniel DeShazer, and Cody Johnston, all received a performance shirt and shorts, and third place Kyle Caylor and Taylor Moeder got a short-sleeve shirt. 4th place went to Dylan Penka and Chris Watson. Team wise USA Select won it all and CYC took 3rd. All of the team wrestled hard and did Kansas and Missouri proud. We are at the San Jose airport waiting for our flight to San Deigo and then to KC. I am very proud of all the wrestlers and a big THANK YOU to USAWrestling-Kansas for help sponsoring this and Will Cokeley and Dean Watson for their help. These young men had a great experience and what the heck it was Greco, how can you not Love it.

Later,

Coach Peterman
Also a big THANKS to the parents and coaches who helped support some of these guys also. I didn't wrestle but I am wiped out. Next is Southern Plains, hope to see a big turnout, we need to train and prepare now for Fargo.
