TC with a big match with Howe. How beat the crap out of Davit Taylor. Tyler matches up well with Howe's style.
Howe wins two ball draws and beats TC.
I'm near the top of DD with a few other Kansan's ... I like DD!
you are safe from juanita then, she was always in DDD
It was fun hearing the Hawks giving a Clone love!

Randy Thank You. Great to visit with you on phone. So pumped for Big Steve. I would be in Iowa City. But I am in my final college class today and sunday here in Overland Park. Taking six hours this semester is tough. I will be waiting to hear at 7 p.m. tonight the outcome. Dremel Byers is 36 years and a Great wrestler, but I know Big Steve is up for the challenge. My entire class and Instructor who son wrestled at Olathe South are on the web site with me. OK. got to make some phone calls. Tell Coach Bob Smith hello for me and it was great to talk with him also. Ole Coach Gonzales. RMG

Great to hear from you Coach!
Yes, Steve will face Dremiel Byers, a World Medalist, tonight; in the best 2 out of 3!!
Steve has had a superior day thus far ... as a wildcard, he beat the number 1 seed in his first match of the day! Then he won two more bouts to win the mini-tournament!!
Go Steve Go!!
In Greco-Roman, 2002 World champion Dremiel Byers (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army) will seek a eighth consecutive U.S. Team spot when he meets Steve Andrus (Manhattan, Kan./Michigan WC), who beat Pete Kowalczuk in the quarters and Tim Taylor, a three-time Trials runner-up.
(a quote from an article by Roger Moore)
Steve loses first bout, 0-1, 0-1
Steve Andrus is an Olympic alternate ... Outstanding performance!
Thanks Randy for all the updates. I was on five different site trying to see actual on-line video, but to no avail. I got a text from Big Steve. I am so Proud and Happy for Him and his family. He was on a big stage today and the all of us Kansas folks were cheering for him. OK back to homework on my Early Literacy & Language class. Ole Coach Gonzales. RMG
So proud of you Big Steve!!!!!
Krista loses the first period, 0-1 ... The second, 0-7.
Chase Pami wins the first frame, Brent wins the second, Metcalf wins the third!
Krista loses the first, wins the second, takes an early lead in the third ... Wins!
cons. Round 1 - Joe Johnston (Gator Wrestling Club) won by forfeit over Todd Meneely (Unattached) (FF)
Krista Revelle vs Trinity Plessenger - Cons. Round 2 - lost first frame, lost the second frame - good tournament!
Krista loses her next bout ... But she battled hard ... It is still a great accomplishment!
Joe Johnston vs Jason Chamberlain - It looked like 1-0, 1-0 for Chamberlain
Chase Pami wins another ... Places 3rd in challenge tournament!
So they top off the trials with....... Wait for it......wait for it.... Baton twirling and juggling.

... but the baton twirler was excellent!
Congrats to Steve Andrus. What an accomplishement for a college student athlete. First Olympic alternate. Keep it up and win a World title soon. Very impressive. Keep making us Kansans proud. Anyone know what Steve plans on doing after he is done at Michigan State? Is he OTC bound?
