There was a call made in a match several weeks ago at the Valley Center Tournament which went against this parents child. This parents behavior became difficult and the parent was removed from the tournament.

The incident was reviewed by several individuals from this parents club, and as I understand it, all agreed with the call made by the mat official.

Wow, will the whining ever cease?

this is why parents should let the kids wrestle for the kids. Parents should (key word should) be the grown up in the situation and teach the kid on how not to be a sore looser but that is hard to do if the parent is a sore looser.

I love that show! Remember the one where the lesbian was caught cheating on her lover with another lesbian? That was an awesome one!

yeah this coming from a man who had his kid quit because he lost 2 times in a row at linn county. that is teaching a kid 3 things its okay to quit and poor spotsmanship, and how to be a sore loser.
claiming he was too hurt to go on. parents get invovled in the kids sport and want the kid to wrestle good and have the calls good. there are times where some of the refs. do make bad calls and parents don't want their kid cheated. its the fact of life. practice what you preach

For your info, my son told me that he was hurt. It is my resposibility first as a parent to make sure that the well being of my son is first. If my son was truely hurt like he said (which he wasn't and he was deciplined for lying) it is up to me as a parent to make sure he is ok. If my son was truely not okay then the HE_ _ with wrestling. My son's health is number one for me, and if that is not the case for you I would seriously judge your ability as a parent.
