Fridays are great for movie reviewers because it is opening day for many movies. This week helps start off a great movie season. I just got back from seeing Walk the Line this afternoon. It is the story of Johnny Cash and it is a great movie. Bono of U2 said: “Locusts and honey ... not since John The Baptist has there been a voice like that crying in the wilderness. ... “

For the Johnny Cash fans out there, go check this out. It was a very pleasant surprise. Surprising at the mid day matinee that there was not that many people there, a lot to see Harry Potter, but not many to see the new Johnny Cash movie. A great performer that crossed over so many generations. Joaquin Phoenix did a great job, even singing the songs.

Just finished the review and article this morning, final edits aren’t done yet but you can see the comments on the blog. There was one photo I wanted to include in the article, The Gospel, Country Music and Johnny Cash, with Cash and you can guess which one that was. Tell me if you think I should include it or not, you will likely know if you read the article. The article The Gospel, Country Music and Johnny Cash is one that required quite a bit of research, almost 3 full days as a matter of fact, and a lot of material not included in the article. I would also consider making it longer depending on thought about it. I am taking my family, wife, son, daughter, son in law tonight to see it. Appreciate knowing what people think of the film after they have seen it.
