Personally, I hope sooner than later. I don't think it has happened yet, but I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Brittany is in fact a fierce competitor as the article states. She competed with us at Fargo last year. Before anyone gets their tail feathers in a bunch. She signed over all her rights to KS as Nebraska does not have a womens Fargo Team. She paid all her own expenses and she represented KS well. I hear she has a sister that is a heavy weight...hoping they can help us out again this year. This is totally legal and above board so don't bother starting the debate about it.

Thanks for posting this Mike. I think you are correct that no female has made it the finals in KS at HS state ....yet.

Looking forward to the beginning of girls wrestling competitions. Team KS is looking good again this year. We have some new and quite dedicated girls that have been practicing on Sundays with the Kansas Krusaders.

Ms. Jenni, all I know is for the last several years one of my favorite events at Fargo is watching the girls compete. It reminds me of John Wooden when he talks about the game of Basketball, "the women's game is the purest form of the game left." While that may or may not be true for women's wrestling, I just know how good those girls are, how much pride they take in their teams, and yes how honored I and my family have been in the past to yell for our Kansas girls, including one who happens to be a little north of our border who chose to identify with our great state. To see her and others honored is something we see as good for our sport.
