I am doing a college speech over Girls participating against Boys. I was just wondering if anyone would like to share their input, on the topic. I am not trying to cause any arguments.

I am sure that Coach Ed would love to talk to you about this subject. If you are able to call him at 316-259-5399 he will have plenty to say and probably one of the most experienced sources in KS.

Send me a message through this site and I will give you some good ideas and quotes to put in your paper. I have been a high school coach for 9 years and have had 9 femaile wrestlers compete.
Prior to that I coached Womens Rubgy on the National level.
I would love to help you out with Title IX and what it has to do with women competing with men in sports.
Ask away, in PM's, and I will get back to you and help your speech out.

We have almost lost our tournament because of females wrestling in it. We have had some strong Texas schools find other tournaments because they are unable to compete against them. To do so would make them ineligible for the remainder of the season. Two years ago, we had a girl win the tournament at 103 after wrestling only a first round match in a 16 man bracket. Texas refuses to allow their athletes to compete under the rules of the state that they are in, regarding that issue.
