Chapman is at Concordia Duals today and tomorrow.

Not sure where Clay is...I do remember that Chapman used to go to JC way back. I wouldn't mind seeing them get back in the JC tournament just to see some different teams.

After being at the JC tournament, I was dissappointed looking at all the 5a and 6a schools having trouble fielding 14 guys for a varsity tournament.

ACCHS (3a) the only non 5/6a team in the competition had 6 openings.

Salina Central of 5a had 6 as well.

SMS, Wich NW, Manhattan, all had 1 open

BV North had 8 openings!!!

SM NW had 9 openings!!!!

Kudos to JC, Sal South, and KMC for not having any openings. I know sometimes there are reasons a team might be missing a guy or two, and I hope that these teams just have guys sick right now that are missing more than a handfull.

4 teams were open at 160!? Is that such a hard weight to get a kid at? I would think it wouldn't be.

Well best of luck to the guys with the good records who when they go to regionals and get the 1st seed get put in a 5 man bracket and draw a bye the first round and can still go 0-2 to take 4th drawing a double bye on the backside of the bracket.

Calling all divisions 3a-6a: if you have less than 6 guys in a regional bracket...figure out a round robin format and make the 4 guys that qualify wrestle!!! 5 and under....rr, 6 and up straight bracket.

I believe KSHSAA has something to say about that!

I think the KSHSAA isn't always right on everything...they need to have the wrestling coaches veto them on somethings.

Do you really think that wrestling coaches can veto guidelines that KSHSAA set?

Come on boys ... Attica, Attica, Attica!
