Did I read that right? 12 finalists for Clay Center out of 14 weights?! Then the two not in the finals took 3rd?! WOW!

11 finalists for clay with 8 champs and the other 3 placing 3rd. they jumped out to an early lead when every wrestler made it into the semi's either by pin or tech fall.

clay center wrestlers had a total record of 39-6 on the day, very impressive

well............alright i guess, just don't let it happen again Billy boy. in all seriousness though Mr. DeWitt, i know that myself as well as many other Clay Centerites appreciate the time you take to put out the rankings and update them as often as you do.

I've slacked some responsibility to Harris as of late whose just been going gang-busters with it and got his "crazy" point system working now but I still get to slide my input in there. This team seems like that last team they had that stormed into that Holton regional when I was at my other school and I think we all know how that season ended for the Tigers! Sometimes you just have to ignore the numbers and deal with reality.

I think last year's dissappointing showing at state has the Clay Center team pumped. I would expect a few finalists and more of a crowd on Day 2, especially for the finals. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that Clay Center and Abilene combined would have 1 finalist in any given year as of late.

A bit of a bear to start but the crew pulled through. Besides, who doesn't like being done at 5 for the trip home. Thanks Lamar and the Silver Lake Folks.
