I am trying to find the best deals on a new wrestling mat for next year and I was wondering if anyone has bought a new one and could give me some information as to where you got it from and a general price. I am looking to try and get one of those ultralite 7 piece mat 42x42. You can send me an email or private post. Any help I can get I appreciate it.

Thanks

OMG, I didn't realize they had increased that much in price! I remember when the largest and thickest mat they sold was 5K.

World Class Wrestling Enterprise LLC has some mats.
We bought one about 3 or 4 years ago. 42 x 42 with 9 practice cirlces on one side and one big match cirlce for wrestle offs.
The other side was folk style competion mat. 2 colors. They are getting into the ultra lites soon. A good place to price compare.

woops--mistyped; our summer 2007 Resilite was right at $10,500 delivered; it had some "specials" which increased the cost, lettering, solid conrasting color inside the big circle, etc. Base cost with no extras would have made the price closer to $9000 than $10,000.

Refinishing cost about half I think. But it is the shipping the mat 2 ways that will almost cost the price of a new one. Some of the mats that need refinishing are pretty hard after 20-25 years.
There is another option that some manufactures give and that is to buy a mat that is pieced together with a bunch of short pieces of foam or remnants. I think they are a little cheaper but they do not look very nice and you can see the seams. When you roll them up that is normally the first place that the surface coating begins to crack. These might be good for home use or one that does not get rolled up a lot. But not good for a high use mat such as high school, college and or kids club.

Our new 7-piece mat was around $11,000 purchased recently.

I have a current price quote to refurbish a mat for $5,000.
