Mavs Crown Three Champions at Daktronics Open

BROOKINGS, S.D. -- The University of Nebraska at Omaha wrestling team crowned three champions in the season-opening Daktronics Open Saturday at South Dakota State University.
Redshirt freshman Esai Dominguez (149) went 5-0 with four technical falls and an 8-4 decision in the finals over Joe Soto.
At 174 pounds, senior Ross Taplin won the tournament's Most Falls Awards, going 4-0 with four first period pins.

Wrestling unattached, freshman 285-pounder Elijah Madison was 4-0 with a 5-3 decision in the finals over Nebraska's Tucker Lane.
Redshirt freshman Nathan Sigman finished third at 157 pounds with a 4-1 record.
Freshnman Matt Baker, wrestling unattached at 184 pounds, collected a 4-1 record, placing fifth.. Other UNO wrestlers included:
