Will Cokely printed up a bunch of the flyers, and Salina was kind enough to hand them out to the top 4 placewinners at their tourney in the 12 and 14u divisions.

Last year Kansas had 3 teams go to this event, and it was a blast for everyone. For $275, your kid gets: Team Kansas singlet, Team Kansas shorts, Team Kansas shirt, Entry fee, participation card, hotel room for two nights, Transportation from Lawrence KS, and coaching. Most importantly, they'll get to know a bunch of the other top kids from Kansas, wrestle some of the top kids around the country, and experience the "team dual" format, like they'll see in high school.

If you did not get one of these forms, but want to wrestle in this event, PM myself, Doug Vanderlinden, Matt Collins, or Will Cokeley, and we'll get it to you.

You'll also need a copy of a grade card showing that you are not past 8th grade, a copy of your birth certificate, and copy of your family insurance information.

Weight classes are as follows:
75,80,85,90,95,100,105,110,115,120,125,130,135,140,145,152,160,171,189,250

I have scanned the signup forms and info packet that Will printed up, so if you need it emailed to you, let me know. PM me for my email address. Will can email it to you as well.

The fax number on the hand outs is incorrect!!! Please note my fax number is 509 267 7060. I have not received any completed applications but I have received a few emails. Please refax and/or pass along this information to anyone who is interested.

I think Will would like to get them asap, so that the selections to see which team you are on can be made right after the state tourney. It will sure make it easier if we have all the interested kids signed up early, so we didn't have to go "recruiting".

So send 'em in now!! I know Will has been receiving some already.

And as a parent, it is nice to sit back and watch rather than having to be matside to coach. Last year we had Luedke coaching a team, and some of Newman's college kids coaching a team, and I believe Vanderlinden and Collins coached a team.

Of course, you can ship your kid up without attending as well. They'll be well taken care of, and only beaten or abused if they need it.
