The Maize "Battle of the Belt" tournament is a few weeks off, February 6th, but wanted to go ahead and put out an update on a few changes that we have. First change is that we will be offering satelite weigh-ins this year. We have Ark City, Great Bend, and Salina on board so far. Exact locations in these towns should be released next week. We are still hoping to find a team out east that might be interested in hosting a weigh-in. Maybe Eldorado or Augusta? Also, due to indefinite backorder on our previously ordered belts, we were forced to upgrade our order. The belts this year will be even BIGGER and BETTER than last year. The six year olds may need help getting it off the mat. That's about it for changes. Our tournament is split again and we will start on time and be done at a respectable hour. We have already started getting entries and are expecting 1000 plus. This should be a monster tournament. If you have any questions, please contact us at bhughbanks@cox.net.

Hey Jeff have you guys thought about playing some music during warmups. We were listening to we will rock you on the way to wrestle in winfield this morning and both my boys were shaking their heads and then I got the chills. would be good to listen to and get the kids, coaches and parents ready. Being the caliber tournament you guys run that might just add a little extra to it.

you had that image of me back in the day when i kicked your butt right lol. maybe i will see ya in tulsa. there's never been a blue comet kick my butt, all the big time hwt's were older than me. the last one who tried was andy babcock, he got a 6pack in him and thought he wanted a shot at the title. he called in sick for a week. yes i'll be in tulsa, bringing about 10 kids, it should be fun, good luck to your boy.

ok now you have confused me. i actually thought you were suckerpunch. now who are you. by the way chanute had 4 different heavyweights that were state champs in 4 year. different kids to. gossett, manly, smedra and brandon. has that ever been done before.
