So in an effort to even things out a bit the NCAA is taking notice of DII wrestling. Last year the East Regional was so large that it was contested over 2 days, while out West in Super Regional 4, only half as many teams were represented.
With 48 teams competing in the 2010-2011 season the NCAA has divided things up so that 13 teams are in SR1 and SR2, while SR3 and SR4 have 11...WHY CAN'T WE GET 12 in EACH to make it totally even?
Here is their solution:

Now here is my solution...get out a paper and cross teams off and add if too far over your head. My solution would affect both Kansas DII teams, but in my opinion based on what the NCAA wants (conferences together and so on), this is what is best:
By the way SR = SuperRegional (FYI SR1 is the former East, SR2 is the former Midwest, SR3 the Former Northern Sun, and SR4 the West.
1. Fort Hays needs moved from SR4 to SR2 (they are MIAA Conference with UCO, UNO, UCM and Truman)
Now it is SR1 with 12, SR2 with 14, SR3 with 11 and SR4 with 10
2. Newman from SR3 to SR4 along with Oucitha Baptist from SR2 to SR4
Now you have 1 @ 13, 2 @ 13, 3@ 10 ad 4@ 12
3. Anderson is a member of the SAC (Southern Athletic Conference) so move them from SR2 to SR1 to join fellow SAC member Newberry
Now you have 14, 12, 10, 12 for SR 1-4 respectively
4. King and UNCP or AIC to SR3 ( I think King and UNCP should go and AIC stay due to majority of SR1 being from up north) King, UNCP and AIC have no conference ties
12, 12, 12, 12
