From the website:
The most exciting matchup of the night came at the 165 pound contest between newcomer Chase Nelson and Kyle Detmer. Nelson led 2-1 going into the second period but Detmer evened it at 2-2 after posting an escape. In the third period Nelson went ahead 3-2 after an escape, but Detmer took over the lead, 4-3, with a takedown with just 15 second remaining. However, Nelson secured a reversal at the last second to claim a 5-4 victory and gave the White team its first win.

There was a little extra blurb on there.
"Kyle Detmer is tough and it is a big high school rivalry between them. They have wrestled each other quite a bit. That was a tough match. Kyle made a great move to go ahead and it looked as if the match was lost but that's the key in wrestling. You don't quit and you don't put your head down. Chase didn't and came from behind to win."

Read on the Oklahoma forum that Caldwell had his knee scoped and was on crutches. If they repaired cartiledge it will be a little while before he is in action. If they cut it out...he'll be back fairly quick. This is assuming that is actually what his injury was.

I saw him yesterday and he was walking around. Coach Spates said if he had to he could go at Brockport this coming weekend but probably won't.

Where was national qualifier Kendric Maple ? He will red shirt this year and they chose not to have him wrestle Bailey again in the dual. He looked good yesterday at the OCU Open though!
