Fort Hays State wrestling coach Chas Thompson announced that four individuals signed with the program during the early signing period for the 2011-12 year. The individuals include Adam Ludwin, Kyle Johnson, Zack Grimes, and Derek Holly.

Adam Ludwin, a native of Yuma, Ariz., has a career record of 90-15 while wrestling at Cibola High School. He was the state champion at 112 pounds as a sophomore and took third in the state last year at the same weight. He was a Fila Cadet Greco Roman All-American in 2010.

Kyle Johnson, a native of Girard, Kan., has a career record of 89-31 while wrestling at Columbus High School. Johnson has two state runner-up finishes to his credit, last year as a junior at 130 pounds and the previous year at 125 pounds. He was fifth in the state at 125 pounds as a freshman. Johnson is ranked No. 3 at 130 pounds in Kansas for all classes entering this season.

Zack Grimes, a native of Osawatomie, Kan., has a career record of 119-17 at Osawatomie High School. He was sixth in the state last year at 189 pounds as a junior and fourth the previous year at the same weight. He enters this year ranked No. 3 in the state at 189 pounds for all classes.

Derek Holly, a native of Topeka, Kan., wrestles at Shawnee Heights High School. Holly placed fourth in the state as a junior last year at 285 pounds. He enters this year ranked No. 3 in the state at 285 pounds for all classes.
