Once again the Cardinals are loaded. I think there are a couple extra cherries on top this year though. Coach Renfro brought in two of the top recruits in the country in Ethan Orr (NJ) and Jeromy Davenport (OK). I believe Orr is the first New Jersey wrestler to ever sport the Cardinal Singlet. Can anybody think of another? Orr was a two-time state champ out of a very tough wrestling state with one true champ at every weight. I've watched a couple video's and he's very polished for a high school kid. Davenport is a 4X state champion out of Sallisaw, OK. That's right, a 4X Okie (26th in History)! Davenport was initially an OU signer but will be wrestling for the Cardinals now. He was Coached by former Cardinal and FHSU wrestler Mikel Delk.
Some of the other top recruits include:
Devin Aguirre (2X Champ from Ponca City, OK) Max "Bubba" Adair (Champ, Runner-up, 3x Placer from Lawton, OK) Austin Legg (1X Champ from Ponca City, OK) Zach Anderson (2X finalist Clay Center, KS) Spencer Rutherford (3X finalist Grove, OK) Payne Hatter (2X placer Neosho, MO) Jared Elmore (State Champ Stillwater, OK) Eric Hughes (3X finalist Bolivar, MO) Trey Page (State Champ, 3X placer, HS All-American Wichita, KS)
Other Tough Returners: Jordan and Dakoda Basks, Tyler Davis, Ray Hall (returning AA), Garrett Jones (returning AA), Kayton Marshall.
I definitely missed some accolades and probably forgot a few of the other guys. I may have included some that didn't show up for school, but I think these guys all made it.
This is a talented class with a bunch of really solid guys already in the room. There are a few weight classes that are three deep with studs.
It should be another fun year!

Looks stacked indeed, but why isn't Page even listed on the roster on the Labette website?
Enlighten Me!

Eneto, He's enrolled and on campus. You have to realize that most KS Junior Colleges are working on pretty limited IT/Media staff and budgeting, I think Coach Renfro is juggling a lot too. That roster was updated right before Page signed if I remember right.

Looks great! On Eric Hughes he was 2x finalist one time 3rd. He was at Iowa Lakes last year but missed almost the whole season due to a hernia surgery. We are excited to see him join so many great teammates and coaches.
