Pointing to the crowd is pretty "status quo" so to speak, the kiss is a little different and draws more attention than just pointing etc. I'm sure that added to the official's decision it was worthy of unsportsmanlike conduct.

Did I take sides? I believe I pointed out the rule and was in NO way critical of the wrestler.

The shame rests on the shoulders of the initiator of the thread who cannot accept the fact the action was not within the rules. I am reasonably certain the action would have already been forgotten had your friend not posted the topic.
