Who is the best wrestler in the State of Kansas??
Topeka Expocenter - Sunday, March 8th, 2015 after NAIA National 6 to 8 surfaces in main arena & 2 to 4 in exhibition hall, if needed
THREE DIVSIONS: Subject to change Gold Division- KSHSAA State Placers must compete in this division Silver Division – If not a KSHSAA State Qualifier it will be optional (placers MUST wrestle in the GOLD while all others have the choice of wrestling in the Silver or GOLD) Girls Division Weight classes plus a five pound allowance
Registration: Gold Division: $31 if you move weight for KSHSAA, $26 if you compete at the weight you wrestled in a KSHSAA state tournament. Silver and Girls: $21 Must have or purchase a USA Wrestling Athlete card Walk ups welcome. Registration and scales will close at 10pm on Saturday night.

You should capitalize on out of state folks coming in for NAIA that might be state placers elsewhere too.

Since your charging more if they move weight classes do wrestlers still get a 2 pound growth allowance?

Open to All High School Wrestlers.
Swayz, I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. They would like for this to be a Grand State. Should easily have 32 man brackets in both divisions in all weight classes just using Kansas High School wrestlers.
Let's find out who the best really is.

Kansas wrestlers only, 8th-12th I'll simplify the question. Jake wrestles 126. With the Growth Allowance he has to make 128. At the Sonic Throwdown does he have to make 126+5= 131 lbs., or does he have to make 128+5= 133 lbs.?

Sounds like a great event and weight class allotment makes sense.
Now if only the planners of the Metro Classic would follow the same common sense approach!
