All,

Check your child skin infections.

A parent of a wrestler that competed at the Johnson County Kids tournament this past weekend called today - they took their son to the doctor because he developed some red circles on skin - the doctor told them it was ring worm. He was wrestling on mat number 7. Check your child or wrestler even if they were on another mat.

If you see anything that is questionable you may want to have it checked out with your doctor and withhold your wrestler from practice. Please let us know if you discover any skin issues.

We know how quickly these skin issues can spread and wanted to get the word out.
