If there are only 4 kids or less in your child's bracket, do they have to wrestle or can they forfeit and just move on to districts? I would assume they still need to make weight and such but with all the disease and pestilence going around, it may seem wise in some cases to not go. Does not really say in the rules from what I can see.

You do have to weigh in, but you do not have to wrestle. You would forfeit to 4th place. We have had kids that are injured in the past do this...

And this is why Sub Districts is not needed. Costs in travel and wasted time to just weigh in. Districts still having Subs are doing a huge injustice to their members.
