I was President of our local soccer league and I was a coach. My son became a referee and soon began to complain about the parents during games. I did everything I could to stay nearby to handle the parents but sometimes I was gone for an away game and sometimes I was at another soccer pitch, we had 14 at the soccer complex. He lasted just 2 years and then quit because the parents were so bad."

Wrestling Dad Arrested After Attacking Son's Opponent at High School Tournament

Neither the wrestling coach nor principal for the blindsided student's school wanted to comment when reached by Fox 8. But Sharon Contreras, the Superintendent of Schools for Guilford County, which oversees the school of that wrestler, did issue a statement.
"It's very unfortunate, and it just shows a society that I feel sometimes we're just losing all decorum," Contreras said. "I want to say that the parents from that high school wrote us a lovely letter saying they were equally appalled. It's not who they are as a community. And I certainly apologize to the students at both high schools who experienced that, particularly the student who was attacked."
