I would like to ask or plead for the return of a sweatshirt. Jarin worked extremely hard for the sweatshirt. It is dark blue with white letters. On the front it has American Crown Award and the years 2005&2006. On the back it list the three tournaments that a wrestle must place first in, in order to receive the american crown award. Dixie Nationals in Georgia, Big Horn in Colorado and Liberty Nationals in Kansas City Mo. Under this is the word CHAMPION. Jarin is one of 12 wrestlers who won this award and him and one other wrestler are the only ones from Kansas to win this award. You can see their pictures on http://www.americacrownwrestling.com. One would ask if he worked so hard why did he leave it lying around at the Holidome? All I can say is he is 10 and was not thinking. I am going to contact the person responsible for setting up those tournament and see if we can order another one but the chances are we won't be able to. So if someone picked it up we would be willing to offer a reward and cover the shipping and handling. Perhaps the person who has it could turn it in to their club director and that person could contact me, or contact me directly. I know it is only a sweatshirt, but it really meant a lot to him. Thanks

If it was left at the Holidome I'd call and check there first and be persistent, you never know.

I'd also try to contact one of the state kid's tournament directors to see if someone might have picked it up and took it over to the state venue and had it in lost and found.

Aaron,
I have been very persistent with the Holidome and hopefully they will come acrossed it and call me (I filled out all the necessary paper work).
I had it announced at the tournament on sunday, and we checked with them throughout the day and before we went home. I am sure that they will let me know if they find it.
I am just hoping someone out there found it and will let me know.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have not spoken to you since the Mid America Classic in Iowa last year. I hope everything is going well for you. Take care.

I can go by there tomorrow and see if it has been found personally, if you think that it might help. I work in Topeka so it is not a big deal.

Dee,

I run into your boys all over the place...I saw Jarin on the floor a few times and gave him a high five or pat on the back...good kid, as a mom do you think he will be better than the older brothers?

Jeb,
Thanks for the offer. If you have time and it is not out of your way, that would be great.

Aaron,
What a question! He looks up to his older brothers and his goal is to be a four time state champ. (Isn't that every wrestlers goal?)He admires his three time state champ brother, but he wants to do better. He is a good athlete. He has the ability to watch and learn. He does not just watch wrestling but he studies it. He sees things that my other three weren't able to see at this age (Jacob was this way). He respects, admires other athletes, he understands the dedication and what it takes to reach his goals. He strives to be confident and not cocky. I hope he gets the chance to do all that he wants to but last summer he had his first seizure. We don't know really why this is happening but each time he steps out on the mat, the football field, etc... It is a blessing and I hope it can continue. I am glad they see you on the floor, but remember you can always come up in the stands to say hi.

Dee
