I've recovered this from years past! It is still pertinent!! Originally posted by usawks1: ... and just as a reminder for our "new" coaches ... you actually will need two coaches cards in order to coach at the Subs and beyond!
First, you need a USAW Coaches Membership card. This card currently costs $35.00 and is renewable every year. One of the main benefits with this card is the liability insurance protection that it provides. And, it must be a Coaches card and not a participant card.
Second, you need a minimum of a Copper certification. However, in Kansas we are strongly suggest Bronze. In fact, the Bronze is the only course that we teach. Once you get your certification it is good for "life!"

Also, we have Bronze certification classes scheduled for December 10th and December 17th. One will be at Saint Thomas Aquinas in KC and one will be in Iola. Right now we are now sure which clinic will be where!
Other clinics will be posted as they are confirmed. Historically, we have a couple in the Wichita area, one in Manhattan, but they aren't confirmed yet.
For the past several years we have had a clinic in Southwest Kansas on Super Bowl Sunday but no one has stepped forwarded yet!
Rest assured all clinics are posted when they are confirmed!!

The address for Saint Thomas Aquinas is 11411 Pflumm Road - Overland Park, KS. From I-35 take 119th street east to Plumm and then go north to 11411 Pflumm it is on the east side of the road.
December 17 at 10 am at the Iola High School. Iola High is at 300 E. Jackson in Iola.

Is there any pre-registration for the St. Thomas Aquinas clinic required?

Pre-registration would be nice but is not necessary!

If you don't have your card you need to purchase at STA or have applied for it through your home club!
