When do the new wrestling shoe styles come out?

I've seen the new Cael's and Rulon's. They're not too bad looking of shoes.

Yea I know.... I've seen the new Cael's but not Rulon's.... I have the Adidas Response in red but Colby's colors aren't red so I need new ones, I am thinking about going with the Adidas Sydney's in Blue & Silver... or possibly Adidas Adistars. Any thoughts?

I like my asics ultra lyteflex. The pair I have are Colby colors too. They're pretty comfortable but they're not the most sturdy pair of shoes.

They're stable, but the pair I have now, the material is ripping. They're still wearable though, and the material has nothing to do with the shoe except make it look better.

Looking good is everything, I am not good but at least I can look good right?

That's always been my motto. For example, when I suddenly found myself on my back in the state finals, I thought to myself, "I hope my shoes look good."

And unfortunately, my left shoe's velcro was a little undone. I think it was from the velocity of the throw though, so there really wasn't anything me or the shoe company could do to prevent that.

That happens, they try to prepare for the worst, but I guess some guys just get in things deemed "impossible".

I like the Adidas Sydneys the best. They're comfortable and pretty sturdy. Plus a pair of mine ripped out once and Adidas just sent me a new pair for free anyways.

My brother got the Adistars this year and they wore out on him pretty quickly.

I heard the Adistars aren't very comfortable either.

I like the looks of the Rulon's too bad they don't come in kid's sizes since both my wrestlers are still wearing under a size 6 men's below is a link to see the new Rulon's They come in Black with Red or Black with Gold as well as a hefty little pricetag on them as well.

I went ahead and picked up the Blue & Silver Sydneys from a friend for $0.00 so I am ready to go again. I just need to find some new kneepads because my volleyball ones from last year wore out. Oh well I can manage $20 in stead of $120.

We used the 54's from asics this past year, they have held up as good as any i have seen and survived high school, kids, freestyle and camp with great results, minus the occassional defunking that is needed. Rulons are much the same shoe, just with laces.

At Hays we always got those strongrem kneepads. Those things would rip out all the hair on your legs.

I hate that all the new shoes have straps or zippers on them.
