Just heard that the incident in KC below: Man killed in fall from I-435 overpass in Shawnee
A man fell to his death onto southbound Interstate 435 in Shawnee early this afternoon.
Drivers called police just before 1 p.m. to say a man had jumped from the Shawnee Mission Parkway overpass. Traffic was blocked as police began investigating the apparent suicide, but they reopened one lane about 1:35 pm.
was former Turner H.S., Colby CC and Labette Alumni Arthur Esparza.
My blessings go with his friends and family Arthur was a great kid.

I am a fellow teammate of Arthur’s from FHSU. This news is absolutely heartbreaking. He was a great man and teammate. On behalf of the FHSU wrestling program, our prayers are with Arthur and his family as well. PLEASE post funeral arrangements. There are many that would appreciate it. GOD BLESS.

I am also a fellow teammate of Art's from FHSU. I had a lot of fun on and off the mat with him.We had a lot of good times and a lot of stories and memories will always will surround his name. If you know him you know exactly what I mean. The Guy was one crazy cat. Arthur was a good guy and had a deep heart, despite all his toughness. If any one finds out funeral arrangements would you please post them or email them. I am coming up with nothing. Arthur your in our hearts and you always have been welcome there. God Bless You on your Journey Joshua Rush FHSU Tiger Wrestling
