I have a bunch of academic scholarships to KU so I doubt Colby is all that much cheaper for you than KU is for me, not to mention my parents pay for it anyways.

I think Jhris and I have this one.
I too was a Kansas Scholar. I also took honors classes but Russell doesn't go off the 5.0 scale for honors classes so not much of a comparisson there. Congrats on the 32 and 1500 on the SAT. Why would you choose KU over Harvart etc. with ACT/SAT like that? And a spoiled rich kid, nothings better.

Ha ha ha, first off it's Harvard. Eighth in your class and you can't spell that?

Secondly, I didn't really want to go to an Ivy League school, I've always liked KU a lot.

And finally, at what point am I spoiled? My dad worked hard, got a good job and saved up to pay for my college. Is that a bad thing that I should be called spoiled for? I don't really think so. Get over yourself buddy.

I had a 4.2...but blew my ACT the second time around. I did get accepted to KU because I wanted to go into Opthamology but instead chose Newman.

Maybe your Dad would prefer that you did this on your own... Have you ever asked him or even offered? Remember your Dad worked hard! I'm sure he would just soon spend your college money on his own toys. I bet he could have a great time in Vegas on 40 or 50 Grand.

I'm sure his dad would rather spend money on his son's education since he has the money. Not all parents are as selfish as others and keep the money all for themselves.

Yep, I'm going to go with Jhris on this one.

And my dad would certainly not have a great time burning his money in Vegas. He's not an idiot. He leaves the gambling to me...
