I think schools should have to post their lineup the morning of the dual at their intended weightclass instead of juggling lineups for advantage according to whoever wins the flip. Your comments on this please.

OOOOHHHH I don't know here!!!!
I reffed many a duals that have had flipping and juggling! It's all part of the chess game within the duel. You've got a HUGE mountain to climb if you think we're ever going to get to posted and stuck with lineups...
Just a ref's/ex-coach's viewpoint,
(By the way, noticed how I used both dual and duel? What was the final determination on that thread?)

Church: Good Idea!!! And maybe football coaches should post every play they're going to run (in order)before the game so their opponent can see it. Maybe, pitchers in baseball should have to tell the batter what pitch he is going to throw before he throws it? Part of the gamesmanship of duals are coaches moving their lineups to give them the best chance to win. The goal is to win the dual, right? However, if the coach and referee don't know the rules about who steps on the mat first, I could see why they would rather not have to deal with it and just would like to have the lineup posted.

I think a Dual is about who has the best team. This is much better determined by allowing coaches to juggle line-ups to an extent. The deeper team has the advantage in this regard. I think it is unfortunate we have gone away from the dual as a sport I always really enjoyed them, but the reality is fewer and fewer teams have full line-ups which makes wasting a point on a dual ridiculous when many of your wrestlers won't even get matches.
Any fool can criticize, complain, and condemn- and most do.
