Didn't know for sure where to put this but the high school forum seems to be the busiest and I figure some coaches might be able to help me out. I am taking Friday off before state this weekend in Junction City. Looking for a good golf course that don't cost an arm and a leg to play at on Friday with my wife between Wichita and Junction City. Any recommendations? Appreciate it. By the way, tell something about the course, cost, and so forth.

Don't tell me Furches ... you play the Devils Game too? Are you hooked? It might not be too late to get you into therapy ... we could call an exorcist!

bllaaaaahhhh, beee, wwaaaaa, knacckkkkk, eggghhahhluba, (sounds of being possessed, as my head spins in circles)

Oh yea, I love the game. The only game in the world I never got mad at when I messed up. To this day I have never thrown a club, although I have pounded half way at a divot. I love to walk when I play, enjoy everything about the game of golf. Never could figure out why it is so hard to hit a little ball with a stick, and then why one time you can and another time you can’t. But man is it a fun game. I am not that good but want to play more this summer. I used to play 2 - 3 times a week and carried about a 15, now I feel good if I break a 100 . Just finished purchasing my passport and plan to use it on a weekly basis.

Randy, if we have time we need to try and find time to play at coaches camp next week.

Chapman is super cheap...You can play 9 or 18 holes on the course as well. I'll have to find green fees for it.

Try Rolling Meadows, a great couse just outside of Juction about three miles. I want to say green fee's are less than 20 bucks. Fort Riley has a fun course to play also. Fort Riley Rolling Meadows

Would be great fun to have a group play before the tournament. Maybe next year a benefit for the Tyler Graebner Foundation on Friday could take place at one of the courses. For those that don't know, Tyler played golf as well and loved the sport.

Craig would love to get together and play. Will talk to you in the near future about it.

On my way out the door, driving up through Hillsboro, my old stomping grounds, might play there, but will likely stop in Chapman and check out the course there and then decide on driving on over to Junction City and playing there. A lot has to do with the weather but if not lightning, then it is on.

Randy, hopefully will have time to play next week while at the coaches camp. I got my golf passport yesterday so could be quite nice.
