I think it's amazing how fast it took the last 10 to reach the top then the first ten year wise.

1975-1999 First ten

2000-2006 Second ten

Some other interesting notes:

--Roy Oeser's titles might be most impressive. He won as a freshman and sophomore at 155 pounds. Every other four-timer won their first title at 130 or below.

--Doug Duell and Roy Oeser each won five state titles, including Grand State.

--Ark City and Kapaun are the only two schools with two four-timers.

--The class breakdown (although some won a title in different classes, I will use the class they won the most in as "their class"). Also keep in minds classifications have changed over the years.
6A=3
5A=8
4A=3
321A=6

--there has been a four-timer wrestling each year since 1981.

--correct me if I'm wrong....isn't 1976 the last Grand State. So, Oeser could possibly have won six state titles.

Think Oeser took 3rd at one Grand State.

No!

Noah Clouse won his state championships in 1999 (4A), 2000 (3-2-1A), and 2001 (3-2-1A).

Scott Elliot will be a JR next year and will try to win his third straight. Additionally, i think he is still undefeated in his KS HS career - correct?

True on Scott Elliott. Thus, there are four more possible four-timers currently competing.

If they are not on the list they are not four timers.

Strawn is a two time champion winning in 2005 and 2006.

Minor oversight. Jeremy Long's first title was at 112 and not 119.

Strawn wasn't a four time champion, he was however a four time finalist.
