I was up all night last night doing some research. To my knowledge Kansas State has put maybe 1 wrestler in its Hall of Fame, but I'm wanting to make a push to put an entire team from a season in the KSTATE HALL of FAME.

In 1931 the Wildcats of Manhattan, KS went to the NCAA Collegiate Championships and came home with a 3rd place team finish and 4 total All Americans:

126lbs- Joe Fickel 3rd
145lbs- Bill Doyle NATIONAL CHAMPION (from Douglass, KS)
155lbs- John Richardson - Runner Up
Unlimited - Hevt Errington - 3rd place

I know for a fact there might be a lot of talk about teams that have come and gone at Kstate for football or basketball, but to my knowledge this might be the best finish Nationally for any team that has worn the Purple with Pride. I think we owe it to the families of these men and to the memories of these men (as I'm sure they probably all have passed away)to get them their rightfull place in the Kansas State University Athletics Hall of Fame.

Anybody willing to help the cause will be greatly appreciated.
