Well, thanks for the information. Seems, to me, to be a little fast to add in a college national championship tournament. The organization just added women's wrestling to their sports in July. This means that there is no way that colleges were able to put their name out there and recruit or even pull together an organized team with the students available at the school.
I look forward to seeing the amount of competition that can be pulled together on such short notice and wish Kansas State the best of luck on acquiring wrestlers. It would be nice to have a women's college team in Kansas again since the loss of Neosho County's women's team in 2003. Now the decision will be whether the girls should embark on a college career in freestyle or folkstyle wrestling. I just hope the division of styles does not hurt both sports chances of growing.
