Steve Andrus has verbally committed to wrestle for Coach Tom Minkel and his Michigan State Spartans!!

Steve is a senior at Manhattan High School and wrestles under the tutelage of Coach Bob Gonzales. He is the defending Class 6A State Hwt Champion and a former Cadet National Champion. Congratulations Steve.

Congrats to Big Steve! This young man is a hard worker and will be a good college wrestler.

It's very exciting for KS to have two Big Boys going to wrestle at good D-1 schools. -Coach Parks

What is amazing about Steve is that he only started wrestling in junior high. After only 4 years of wrestling he went from a beginner to a Fargo National Champion. And now after only 6 years of wrestling he has signed with a Big 10 school.

I think you will have a whole page of potential college wrestlers coming from the class of 2008, it will be fun to watch
