Coach Ed -- do infrared heating systems like the ones shown at the links below really 'work' to help one save money on their heating bill?
My KPL bill this month was 376 bucks! I have never had that high of bill and I am looking for ways to lower it.
Here is what one person said about these type of heaters -- is this guy correct?
Has anyone used a sunheat infra red heating system ?

heating with electricity costs the same for all heaters regardless of design or cost. all electric heaters are 100% efficient. it is a gimmick! replacing quartz bulbs on such a heater might be costly.
quartz heaters with exposed bulbs can work better if you let the light shine on you & heats u directly.your sunheat seems to be enclosed. seen those things go for $300! buys a lot of electricity when a $20 heater will be as efficient.
theres about 3100 btu in a kw of electric no matter how you burn it.
