I just finished watching the Alamo Bowl between Kansas State and Purdue. I didn't follow K State then but what a good game except for the ending of the game. Drew Brees was a very good college QB if he would have only had a running game to support his offense.

Are there classic games you would recommend?

Personally, I always loved the Tennessee vs. Miami Florida Orange Bowl, loved hearing how great Miami was the whole time Tennessee kicked their rears. After recent teams at Tennessee, you have to think of those types of seasons.

Now that is hardcore Mike. I thought I was the only one watching WAC games at midnight, let alone KSU/Purdue. If you can find the OU/Texas A&M game in 2000, it was fantastic. The OU/Nebraska rematch in the January 1979 Orange Bowl is another. I will only mention this once and then try to forget it again but..... OU/Boise State (1/1/07) is quite possibly one of the most amazing 4th quarters in college football history.

I never really liked OU or OSU for that matter, remember I grew up in Tennessee. I like Bob Stoops though and have kind of pulled for them ever since he took the job. That Boise State, OU game is a classic, possibly one of the best Bowl games of all time, I agree with you there. I do remember watching the OU Nebraska rematch in the 79 Orange Bowl. I was in college that year up in Hillsboro, playing football that year made for an exciting game as a lot of Nebraska and OU fans were at the school. I love the classic games, especially those I haven't seen before. A lot of those on now and ESPN Classic is doing the 12 Bowls of Christmas which is a lot of fun. Pitt and Georgia from 1982 is on now. Marino and Walker, a couple of good ones there.

Nah, never the cheap purchased wine, we always made our wine at Tabor. Of course your input does remind me of a good George Thourogood (sp?) song. I know you know it, I drink alone, with nobody else.....,
