I just returned from Tennessee where I spent my time visiting various sites shooting a video for a documentary, and visiting my mother in the hospital who is dying of cancer. We have never gotten along and I ended up doing most of my growing up on the streets as a result of that relationship. I have hoped people could get along, find reason to say positive things, but when I return to Kansas find out some people never change.

Some people really enjoy kicking you when you are down, unfortunately not all Kansas Wrestling fans are people of integrity, they take more joy in tearing people apart than they do building them up. They see it as being more important to ridicule and tear apart at the expense of another than to make a point and leave it at that. Thankfully I have a wife who decides to let me deal with the stress at home in Tennessee prior to letting me know about this before getting back to Kansas.

I could ramble on more, but will leave it at that, for now, still trying to decide if I want to wallow in the manure pit with those who would do as much.

I have learned and been reminded that there is usually a reason some people are jerks. The same holds true for some associated with Kansas Wrestling, then again, I don't know about all. I have learned another thing though, if one can work at building relationship with a mother like mine, I have to wonder, why is it some people hold on to grudges, choose to tear down families and others in making their points on these forums. I can come to one conclusion, but this isn't so much a post on faith as it is a post on frustrations that I had to voice here.

I used to believe strongly in this concept of a “Wrestling Family.” I have come to the conclusion that this “family” is far smaller than many realize. I’ll leave that for folks to ponder, as to a “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays” wish from some, sorry, I just don’t believe the words, your actions speak far louder than any words that trickle from your lips.
