This message is for Cade Millers parents and or coaches. I am Ethen Millers Dad and we are going to Reno to try and win the Trinity. I am assuming you will be going as well. My question is what wieght will Cade wrestle. I don't think we can hold 43 until April. If Cade wanted to move to 49 we would go 46 and hopefully both could win the Trinity with out completing against each other for it. If you want to post a message back to me at Missouri USA Wrestling you could post a private message to me millerboysdad.

I really don't know what to say. Is this how all major wrestling tournaments go, negotiate on who wrestles who. If you can't make the weight, move up and wrestle. You shouldn't ask someone to move up a weight class, so your son won't have to wrestle him. JMO Some people might say, are you afraid to wrestle him.

Sorry for asking wasn't. They haven't wrestled before. Does a ton of kids go to Reno and wrestle from Kansas that haven't won both Kick off and TN. They don't in Missouri. I was strictly thinking that boys were going for the same award and wouldn't it be nice if they both had a chance to win it instead of just one. Even if Ethen lost. They will have plenty of opportunities to wrestle each other. Not that big of a deal. You don't need to reply.

Millerboysdad, I'm not trying to butt in to your post, but I wanted you to know that Bones1768 is NOT Cade Miller's dad. From your last post, I got the idea that maybe you thought that message came from Cade's dad. I don't know if he frequents this forum or not.

I'm sorry, but I can see splitting up teammates, but this..........
How about finding out who the true champion is, and finding out what weight each is going, and BOTH going at that weight?
Your kid will feel better about taking 2nd place in a loaded bracket, than he will about winning one that was not.

Do you think at the end of any tournament a 5 and 6 year old kid is going to reflect on the positive side that he had one really tough bracket and is just happy having placed? Yea I don't think so. I see nothing wrong done here whats the big deal let them both be successful or let them fight it out. We've done both Split weights with someone we know so Jon and his friend could both try to be successful and changed weights to wrestle friends cause they wanted to wrestle a match. He's even challenged friends to exibition matches. At the end of it all theres no guarantees anyones going to WIN anything anyway. Anyway I know one is a good kid, hard worker and have not had the pleasure of meeting the other good luck to you both in what ever ya'll decide. Keep going and they'll both make some high school coach really happy one day.
Jon Trowbridge Ive never had the fear of getting beat thats how most people lose.

I believe Cade will be at 46, although I can't say for sure.

I dont see any difference here than any other kid wrestling a higher weight all year and dropping for the bigger tournaments..I would have to give Millerboysdad Kudos for considering the other boy and feeling as though you would do your part to support and help him get just as equal of a shot to win as your son..Good Luck
